Art Practice
I take inspiration from the natural and built environments I works with. I’m interested in how people interact with spaces and everyday objects. My work often features plants seen on my neighborhood walks and personal items. I enjoy working with colored pencil as well as gauche.

Colored Pencil
Verte
was the centerpiece of my first show (which I am so proud of myself for doing). I was inspired by gateways, fencing, and japanese gardens.

explores division of labor and pleasure within it’s color blocking. Both are connected and required of the other.

is a piece I made in the Summer. Enjoying sunlight streaming through my plants, highlighting the steam from my morning cup of coffee, just before heading outside to water my garden.
